LWG-certified leather & suede: This sneaker is made from leathers and suedes that are certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), meaning they’re responsibly tanned in facilities that safely and carefully manage emissions, energy and water consumption, and waste.
Recycled materials: This sneaker has an OrthoLite® Hybrid insole made with recycled foam and rubber from previous production processes.

Returns/Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges of most unworn and unused products within 14 days of delivery. Returns have a $9.95 shipping label fee, which will be waived if you opt for a store credit refund. Items purchased with a discount may only be eligible for store credit or exchange.
International Orders
We accept returns on international orders within 14 days of delivery for unworn and unaltered items. A $25 shipping label fee applies for all international returns, along with additional deductions for the original shipping fees, duties, and taxes that are non-refundable.

Instructions to Measure Your Foot
Follow these simple steps to get an accurate measurement:
- Place a sheet of paper against a wall or straight edge.
- Stand with one foot on the paper, heel touching the wall.
- Using a ruler, measure from the wall to the tip of your longest toe.
- Record the measurement in centimeters or inches.
- Repeat the process with your other foot.
- Compare your measurement to our size chart below.
- The centimeter (CM) and inch (IN) measurements in the size guide represent the maximum foot length that comfortably fits each size. For the best fit, we recommend selecting a size where your foot length is slightly less than or equal to the listed measurement — depending on your personal comfort preference and how much room you like in your shoes.
- For example: If your foot at the longest toe measures 29.5 cm, that falls between 29.0 cm (US 11) and 29.8 cm (US 12)—in this case, your size is a US 12.

At Koio we’re striving to make the most valuable shoe on the market. For us, value doesn’t come from an outrageous ticket price; it comes from pairing ethics with the highest-quality Italian materials and craftsmanship to create the best shoe we can, and pricing it at a fair margin that allows us to do business sustainably.
Our Quality
Each of our shoes passes through the hands of 42 craftspeople at our manufacturer in Italy, using locally sourced premium leathers, suedes, and recycled materials. We’re creating footwear that’s matched only by the world’s most renown luxury brands in its dedication to quality. How do we know? Because we see their shoes being manufactured next to ours by the same craftspeople.
Don’t get us started on retailers. Italian leather shoes of comparable craftsmanship are sold for twice the price of Koios or more. When a luxury brand sells a shoe to a retailer, the retailer applies a markup of at least 100% to the wholesale price—the price that they are paying the luxury brand—in order to come up with the price that you are seeing in the store. When you buy a pair of $600 leather shoes through retail, at least half your money goes to the store location.
We get around the unnecessarily pricey world of traditional retail by selling the finest Italian leather shoes directly to you.
