The Capri Regenerative in Castagna is handcrafted in Italy, showcasing vegetable-tanned leather from cows raised on regenerative Swiss farms that prioritize ecosystem health. With its warm light-brown tone, it blends effortlessly into both casual daytime looks and more polished evening ensembles. Expect unique imperfections and natural textures in the leather—signatures of the animal’s alpine upbringing and a nod to the sneaker’s authentic, planet-conscious origin.

Important information: Our Castagna leather is a vegetable-tanned premium Italian leather. Thanks to this tanning method and the hand-polishing, it attains a unique depth and sheen. It will age gracefully and change its appearance slightly over time. Given the natural tanning process, you can expect variations from the images shown. These variations are a result of the manufacturing process and a testament to the high-quality craftsmanship we pursue.

• Set on a 100% rubber sole (50% natural, 40% recycled, 10% conventional)

Please note that regenerative leathers are uniquely textured and may have subtle markings, which highlight the beauty of a life spent grazing in the Alpine pastures.

• Before first wear (optional): Apply a light, even coat of our Eco Protect Spray from a distance—just a fine mist, not saturated. You can reapply every few weeks for extra protection.
• Cleaning: Brush off dry dirt and debris with a microfiber cloth. Skip traditional shoe cleaners—they can interfere with the leather’s natural properties.
• Water contact: Try to avoid water when possible, as it can cause discoloration. If water droplets do get on them, gently wipe away with a slightly damp cloth.
• Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry, dark place for long-term storage, as the leather can be sensitive to prolonged sunlight exposure.

Recycled materials: 40% of this sneaker’s sole is recycled rubber. It also has an OrthoLite® Hybrid insole made with recycled foam and rubber from previous production processes.
