What is the situation at Koio's manufacturer? 

Our manufacturer is outside of the immediate risk zone. They are located in the south of the Marche region, which has seen very few cases of Coronavirus so far. Our manufacturer has not seen any cases. The factory has implemented precautionary measures (disinfection, personal distance, staggered breaks, masks, etc.) to make sure employees are safe. We are in daily communication with their team and are monitoring the situation closely to ensure the safety of all workers and to minimize disruptions to our supply chain. 

As of Tuesday, March 24th, Italy has shut down all nonessential factory production to limit the spread of Covid-19. This includes our footwear manufacturing partners. Production is scheduled to resume April 8.

Is there any risk of Koio products being contaminated?

No. The transit time for a pair of our shoes from our manufacturer to you is, at minimum, 4 weeks. This is far beyond the lifetime of the virus on surfaces, according to the WHO.

Will I get my Koio order on time?

Yes. If product is shown on our website, it means that it’s physically in the US and available to ship right now. Our warehouse in Long Island is operating on a normal schedule and shipments are on time. If you order via ground shipping from New York before 1 pm, you should get your shoes on the following day.

What is Koio doing to help the humanitarian situation?

In order to help healthcare services in Italy and the US, we are increasing our donation from 1% to 5% to the Red Cross and Food Bank NYC when you opt-in using ShoppingGives on the product page or during the checkout experience.
