Quincy's passion for surfing has been apparent since her childhood days, growing up in Montauk, NY. It was here, far from the surfing hotspots, where she developed her unique power and style that would allow her to become one of the world’s best surfers and a driving force in making surfing a sport for guys and girls alike.
Quincy continues to smash the typical conceptions about surfing as she inspires more and more women to overcome stereotypes and ride the waves.
“When I was younger, there were less girls surfing. I was surfing against boys all the time. In the beginning, people didn’t take us seriously. But now the level of women's surfing is insane. I go down to the beach now and there's so many little girls. It's awesome to see.“
"I personally have a lot of denim in my wardrobe, and I think a light denim is so cool for the warmer summer days. Also, the wash makes it look like the ocean. I love the rose gold sole and eyelets. I think it dresses it up a little bit, and Rose is my middle name."
